SignalFind: Bluetooth Finder

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

01 Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how SignalFind handles information when you use the SignalFind iOS application (the “App”).

02 Bluetooth Information

SignalFind requests Bluetooth access to discover compatible nearby devices that are currently broadcasting. Bluetooth observations may include device names or identifiers and relative signal-strength information. The App uses these observations for scanning, device detection, and Finder functionality.

Core Bluetooth scan information is processed locally by the App. SignalFind does not operate a backend service that stores your Bluetooth scan history.

Important limitation

SignalFind does not provide GPS tracking, Apple Find My network access, UWB precision finding, exact location, exact distance, or directional navigation. The current version does not request location permission.

03 No Account Required

SignalFind does not require registration or login and does not create an account-based SignalFind user profile. You do not need to provide SignalFind with your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or location. Product analytics may use anonymous identifiers to associate events from the same app installation or session.

If you voluntarily contact SignalFind for support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in that message.

04 In-App Purchases

SignalFind offers SignalFind Lifetime as an optional, non-consumable In-App Purchase. Apple processes purchases through the App Store and StoreKit. SignalFind does not receive or store your credit-card or debit-card number.

Purchase status or history may be processed as necessary to unlock and restore premium functionality. Restore Purchases is available in the App.

05 Superwall

SignalFind uses Superwall to present and manage paywalls, support purchase and restore flows, manage premium entitlement and paywall state, and measure paywall performance.

For these purposes, Superwall may process purchase status or history and technical or usage information needed to provide paywall, purchase, restore, entitlement, and paywall-performance functionality. This may include anonymous app-user or device identifiers, device and operating-system information, app version, language or locale, storefront or currency information, and paywall interaction data.

Superwall Privacy Policy

06 Analytics and Advertising

SignalFind does not currently display third-party advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use purchase history for third-party advertising. Superwall may process paywall-related analytics for App functionality and performance measurement.

SignalFind uses PostHog for first-party product analytics to understand App usage, product performance, feature usage, funnels, and where users encounter friction. This includes analytics about onboarding completion, scanning interactions, device selection, Finder access outcomes, successful device-find confirmations, retry and help interactions, Bluetooth permission outcomes, and general App lifecycle and feature usage.

PostHog may receive anonymous installation or session identifiers and ordinary technical or product analytics context, such as App name, version and build, device manufacturer, model or type, iOS or operating-system version, locale, timezone, network type, screen dimensions, and App lifecycle or product interaction information. SignalFind has no account or login system, does not call PostHog’s identify() function, and uses anonymous identifiers to associate events from the same App installation or session.

SignalFind does not send Bluetooth device names, Bluetooth identifiers or UUIDs, RSSI or signal-strength values, or Bluetooth scan history to PostHog. SignalFind also does not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or other account information to PostHog.

Client IP storage and GeoIP enrichment are disabled for the SignalFind PostHog project. As configured, raw client IP addresses and IP-derived city, postal code, latitude, longitude, and region properties are not stored with new analytics events. PostHog Session Replay and Error Tracking are currently not enabled.

SignalFind uses PostHog for product analytics, not for targeted advertising or cross-app tracking. PostHog third-party AI service use and internal AI training have been disabled for this project and account configuration.
